The Opportunity:

We’re searching for a curious and motivated Content and Community Coordinator to join our team. As the Content and Community Coordinator at Total Life, you will play a pivotal role in shaping our brand identity, fostering community engagement, and driving strategic initiatives. This position offers an exceptional opportunity to work directly with senior management on special projects, gain insight into the inner workings of a start-up, and make a meaningful impact on our growth trajectory.

Your Role:

  • Develop and Create Engaging Content: Use applications like Adobe Suite, Photoshop, and Canva to drive brand awareness and engagement across various platforms.
  • Strategize and Implement Content Initiatives: Enhance brand visibility and foster community engagement through well-crafted content strategies.
  • Lead Special Projects: Oversee initiatives such as ambassador programs to expand community reach and enhance brand advocacy through compelling visual content.
  • Cultivate Partnerships: Nurture relationships with community organizations, influencers, and other key stakeholders, utilizing graphic design to support collaborative efforts.
  • Cross-Functional Collaboration: Work with teams across the company to ensure content and community initiatives align with overall business objectives, emphasizing high-quality visual content.
  • Monitor Social Media Trends: Stay updated with platform algorithm changes to ensure our content remains relevant and effective.
  • Community Liaison: Serve as a key point of contact between the company and its community, ensuring excellent communication and responsiveness, supported by engaging visual content.

Our Requirements:

  • 0-5 years of experience in content creation, community management, or related fields.
  • Smart, intuitive, and strategic thinker with a passion for building ideas and developing processes.
  • Must have proven experience with graphic design.
  • Excellent communicator with strong interpersonal skills and the ability to engage diverse audiences.
  • Sharp, detail-oriented, and highly organized, with the ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously.
  • Strong creative background, showing a diverse skillset in creating content.
  • Experience working directly with senior leadership on special projects is a plus.
  • Experience working for a start-up is a plus.
  • Preferred: Experience managing brand or professional social media and experience working for a publication like a newspaper or magazine.
